Testimonials from Happy Parents
Kawanna are received H's test scores back from Woodward and for a national score, she scored in the top 14% in the country so thank you for being a good teacher! That is a huge accomplishment.
The moment I heard your voice on the phone Kawanna Ellis, I knew you were the one I could trust to take my infant and show him love (since I had to go back to work at 12 weeks). He was so happy with you, and you raised him in love for those important first few years and I am so grateful that God chose you as Parker's "second mom”.
Hey Kawana. I hope you are having a great week. This is Lee from Sheltering Arms. I would like to nominate you for a position at the Georgia Association for the Education of Young Children.I think you you would be a great asset to the board and this would allow you the opportunity to connect, grow, and develop with some of the best ECE educators and leaders.
Hello RSL Team- I wanted to tell you all thank you for the time that you spent teaching the kids.
This past weekend I was at a birthday party for a friend of ours from Charleston, SC. She worked as a child care counselor for a large daycare in that area and was impressed with Harlowe's vocabulary, her ability to speak in sentences, and her overall development. She made the comment to me "Harlowe is one of the most advanced 2-year-olds I have ever encountered." And continued, throughout the party, to point out milestone successes that are at a more advanced level. I told her about you all and she said it is obvious they care about the development of the children that attend their center. So shoutout to you all! You are all truly exceptional. Thank you!
We loved our experience at RSL. My son was there for a year until getting into preschool and I feel like he learned so much! He went to the Pollard Location which I don't think they have pictures of but it's all glass windows with a lot of natural light. What we loved about it was it was very Montessori-esk but without the price.
Some things we liked:
They were always doing different activities when I dropped off and picked him up. Like stuff that works on their gross motor skills.
They focus on learning but not burdening them with too much.
hey go outside 2x per day.
They mix older and young kids, our son was 2 but with 3 and 3.3 yo so I feel like his language developed so quickly being around older kids.
Meals-wise, breakfast was always just a carb and fruit and lunch though had a good mix of fairly healthy food.
They have 0 screen time which you think would be a given, but we found a couple of daycares where that's not the case.
They must sing or play music a lot because our son was always singing a new song or a song that I had never sung before.
